Baking Shell (Boule)

No heavy lifting

I decided to change up the way I bake my sourdough as my aging, arthritic hands struggled with the heavy Dutch ovens I own. I bought the steel, and both the round and oblong covers and they are brilliant. No more preheating a heavy vessel, risking a burn getting the dough safely inside and then wrestling the whole thing back to the oven. My bread is gorgeous with so much less fuss. I would recommend this setup for anyone who wants safety and simplicity.
