I purchased this as a gift for a friend whose father in law threw her sourdough starter out when cleaning the refrigerator out! Yikes! She needed a good starter to begin again and I purchased this to move her hobby along more quickly! No more crisis!

The is my 1st time using the 150 Year Old San Francisco Sourdough Starter from Kensington sourdough market. I have to admit it is by far the best I’ve tried! It was a hit from the moment that I reactivated it. Super strong started from the get go! This will be the only sourdough starter for me. I just finished making a batch of Blueberry Orange Bagels, (my 1st time making a Blueberry-Orange Relish for this recipe). The look, smell ,feel and taste alone says it all. Happy dance!!!

Super easy instructions. The starter is amazing. I’ve already baked so many loaves trying out different recipes with different flours. Excellent! I highly recommend it :)
