Banana Rum Infused Maple Syrup

I love Runamok and their many choices of infused syrups. For a while now I could NOT wait to finally try the Banana Rum (it was out of stock at the time as it is a seasonal blend). Once it became available, I ordered two bottles along with another I wanted to try and one I know I love. I thought "there is NO WAY that I wouldn't like it." Well, I have to say, although the overall flavor is still wonderful (hint of rum), I do not detect ANY banana flavor whatsoever. Not even a hint. I can only surmise that the flavors must fluctuate from year to year according to what I'm hearing from a couple other low star ratings on this particular blend and then, of course, seeing the majority raving about it. Very unfortunate that it's not consistent as I had SUCH high hopes.

Great syrup as always. This and salted caramel may be my favorites. Wish I lived in VT but hello from Colorado!

I didn’t expect to like this flavor of maple syrup but after sampling it at a specialty food store, I had to have it. Further, I was impressed by the smart packaging I received it in.
