Does everything!
My husband had been wanting one of these. He says he doesn’t need any other knives now that he has this!

Shun Premier Chef’s Knife
A thing of beauty.
The Chef’s knife has been the most used knife in my home.
Recently I purchased the Shun Primer Chef’s 8” Knife and I am impressed.
I never realized what a difference a quality blade could make. So easy to use.
A Chef’s knife by design has many benefits.
The Shun Premier Chef’s Knife expands on those benefits .
Not only is the knife beautiful, easy to use, it is very sharp, light weight, well balanced and the grip is very comfortable.
Looks do not make a good knife. But this one is.

Terrific high end chef's knife
Delivery was a little slow, but free, so who cares. The Shun Premier is an incredible chef's knife, especially with the $20 off sale price. The blade is gorgeous with a hammered finish on the upper half, and damascus on the bottom. I also like feel and look of the grey oval pakkawood handle. The knife is killer sharp out of the box, and with some stropping you could do surgery with it. Caution: if you are inexperienced, use these knives slowly at first and be cautious or you will be grabbing Bandaids or worse. Overall, the Shun Premier chef knife is a 5 star winner in my world. I've cut and sliced lots of vegetables, fruit, and poultry with this knife, and it cuts through everything like butter. It's a little expensive in the $200 range, but it is well worth it.
