Yaxell Hana 8" Chef's Knife

The best piece to start a collection

Buying this knife specifically and from the Yaxell Hana line itself has started more of my passion in starting my collection. This knife glides throw the everything I've put it to like nothing else I've had. Usually working in kitchens I've used knives provided by employers. Even though there are more expensive and thinner blades available this a perfect knife for someone just starting out or an experienced cook/chef who wants a reliable work horse of a knife. I use it everyday and couldn't recommend another.

Great knife for the price

Good out-of-box sharpness and fit/finish. Packaging was nice and it feels well made overall. I think this would be a great knife for someone looking for a stainless, low-maintenance option.

excellent edge

Love this Chef's Knife and have used it for vegetables and steaks. Took a prime rib and sliced through it like a hot knife through butter. Cut it in half inch slices and even did one that was razor thin. Maintains its edge very well. Looking forward to purchasing more Yaxell cutlery.
