Excellent--For Its Type
What manufactures call utility knives varies quite a lot. This knife is very sharp and well balanced, and also has quite a narrow blade and is very light weight. As a tool for delicate, precise slicing it's excellent. For robust slicing or chopping tasks, you'll want a more substantial utility knife/chef's knife/nakiri. How good this knife is really depends what you want it to do.

Nice size
Wanted something that fit between my 4 in paring Ang 8 and 10 in chef’s knives. Very nice knife. Very sharp out of the box. Have only used it a few times but a good all around knife.
