I haven't removed the knife from its box yet. I've just been admiring it. I think I'll unpack and wash it in a couple of weeks.

If you’re looking for a great utility knife, I highly recommend the Classic Ikon. It’s costs a little more but it is worth every penny.

replacement knife - Ikon 6

I had an Ikon 6 for about 3-4 years and the blade very unusually splintered into 2 parts last month when it fell on the floor. Wusthof were fantastic and after seeing a photo of what had happened they replaced It for me within 2 weeks - customer service was fantastic! I am delighted with my replacement. Thank you!
