I have tried at least four Lion's Mane tinctures, and the one I prefer by far is Yamabushi Mezame. It's got a very mellow, earthy taste, deep brown color Some of the others have a sweet glycerin aftertaste or a strident, alcohol, Armagnac-like aftertaste, which aren't necessarily bad but signal that the tincture has been overproduced. The Yamabushi Lion's Mane is down-to-earth and natural-tasting and feels immediately healthful and clarifying as I taste it under my tongue. It's like enjoying a well-made wine that my brain craves. Cheers!
