I have made several garments with TAL patterns and have always found them great. This is an exception. Perhaps because it is a unisex pattern design to fit a variety of bodies, I find the collar very ill fitting. I loved the idea of the wrap, but as can be seen in some of the photos, the collar stands far from the back of the neck and in both the snapped and unsnapped positions. It also bunches oddly and has excess fabrics at the back. Not only is this sloppy looking it seems to pull the shirt front bodice up from the excess weight in back. Sadly this was a big disappointment for me. I should have paid more attention to the photos which give hints at these problems. Overall it is also too boxy and unshaped for my taste.
