Stylish apron dress
This was a quick and easy pattern to sew. I used a Japanese selvedge fabric 117 cm wide. I did not make the buttons in the back but gathered the back with elastic. I will definitively make another one.

Love it 😍
Pattern well written and easy to follow, do follow all the steps in the order they come! Even for first time sewer. I used thick denim so fold at back is not easy so I added some straps! I did find size M quite short on the skirt.

Sweet dress!
Overall it was a good experience making the Apron Dress. I did find when it came time to matching the notches on the front piece and back pieces that the notches on the front piece were on the fold, not on the edge where the notches were supposed to be. Also, there was no clear indication how we were meant to trim/finish the raw edge of the straps once we have sewed them to the front of the dress. Where to cut them off When to finish that raw edge? Things I had to deal with on the fly. Also if I recall there was top stitching over top of top sitting in the front of the dress in the final stages. I felt like there could have been efficiencies around that near end stage of its construction which I will change if I make this dress again which I may well do! I do find the dress a bit fiddly to button up in the back, but overall I think it’s a great little pattern. So practical with the giant pockets. I shortened it by about 10cm.
