Great pattern. Instructions clear. I made it in checked brushed cotton and did a good job on the pattern matching! I want to make another and make it 5 cm longer next time

The pattern is extremely well drafted. The small details such as darts at the back of the neck and a cutout of fabric at the bottom of the placket (to make the placket less bulky) are rarely found in modern patterns, but appreciated. Well done. I have made this in two fabrics so far (Emerald green poplin and floral linen) and plan to make more. Thank you!

I was searching for a boxy cut French workmen or utility jacket pattern, but I didn’t want all the fuss with loads of pockets, et cetera so I use this pattern and made it from canvas Fabric and I absolutely love it. I’ve worn it constantly since I made it. I did a toile in medium weight cotton Fabric and I thought I was just making it to see how the pattern came together but it turns out I love it as well and wear it all the time!
