Love to sew

I loved the versatility so much that I am making a second vest this month out of denim. I lined my garment that was made in a subtle print ponte knit to wear with jeans. Because I am 6’2, 180 # I made a large and lengthened the body 2 inches and the sleeves 1 inch. When I first tried it on it was bulging at the hips thus unattractive. I easily modified the side seam by tapering approximately 1 in at the waistline. It was a miracle adjustment and immediately slimmed the vest while maintaining the original design appearance. Exceptionally good instructions and the lining was the couture finesse elevating the finished vest. In addition if it’s warm it also looks great just buttoned up to wear as a tunic. I love the pockets

Such a cool piece

I have been wanting this pattern forever, so I finally got it. Decided I'd make my toile with some new supersoft minky fleece ... well, the end result was great but so hard to sew with. Had to hand sew some of the layers because my machine just couldn't sew it. But! A great finished piece. I will make another.

Stylish and comfortable

Another very good pattern with a clever design. I used a fluffy fabric, but it is too thick on the sleeves. Next time I will use a thinner fabric. The instructions are very well described.
