HIGH-WAISTED TROUSERS PATTERN

Straight forward sew with good directions, and plenty of advice about how to get a good fit around the waist. I had to shorten the legs slightly and I put a second button on the back so could tighten the waist a bit. The pictures are after a day of wear, so the trousers are a bit creased. I really like them, as they're very comfortable and have decent sized pockets.

Lovely trousers with nice details

Excellent pattern yet again from TAL! Made with 5 oz lightweight dark denim. Love the luxurious swish factor. The instructions for modifying the waist were much welcome. I'm 177 cm tall, so lengthened legs by 2.5 inches and shortened rise by 1" (otherwise the waistband would have been at my ribcage!). The symbols used for buttons and buttonholes are not intuitive but I finally figured it out. Still mistakenly overlocked the incorrect side of the inner waistband (oops!) I could not make buttonholes with the automatic buttonhole feature because the straps were too close to the side seams and the buttonhole foot could not deal with the very slight bulk in that area. I mangled one buttonhole and made the second one manually using machine zig-zag stitch.
