A new wardrobe staple
I always find TAL patterns well-written and easy to follow, even for complicated garments. This dress is not difficult and every step is clearly explained. I used a navy suiting with a small amount of stretch, and chose to omit the elasticated bottom hem. The finished product can be dressed up or down, is incredibly comfortable, and the roomy pockets and hood are so nice to have in a dress!

Liked it so much I made another one
This is my second hoodie dress (without a hood). This is a very flexible pattern which can be easily adapted. In this version I eliminated the seam between bodice and skirt. I lowered the bust dart by about 2cm. I also converted the dart in the sleeve to ease. The ric-rac decoration is a bit of fun. I kept the adaption from the first time i made this, where I narrowed the shoulders

A great dress!
I loved the pattern, different dress, modern, very comfortable! For my hip size, I cut a size L following the measurements recommended by the instructions. Once packed, I saw that the shoulders were big for me and I went down to size M on the top and adapted to size L on the bottom piece. I like the result but the bottom is too wide for me, even though it's comfortable for me like this, I think that seeing the difference in the lines on the pattern I could have made the bottom part also size M and it would have been fine for me. Since I'll be sewing another one for sure, I'll try to make myself a size M. Very detailed and easy to follow instructions. I used denim fabric with stretch. Reference pattern for dress with modern lines and great pockets! Fantastic!
