Excellent. Very easy pattern to print and assemble, and good clear sewing instructions. A little tight in the shoulder for me so next time I will adjust this.

I love Assembly Line patterns for their cool Scandi styling and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow.

Easy dress to sew

Very easy to use pattern, I ‘hacked’ it as I had a dress in mind and this was the closest pattern I could find to modify. I inserted a zip down the front which was placed centrally, I took a lot of fabric off the length to place it on the knee. I made 3/4 sleeves which I made elasticated, I made a medium top with a large skirt - I am UK size 12 on top and size 14 bottom. I made a toile first as the dress involved quite a bit of fabric and I didn’t want to waste any, my final dress was made of a soft red medium weight corduroy. It was a rush job for Hogmanay but I will definitely make it again in another cord fabric and plan to make the original shirt dress in a lightweight fabric. Instructions and information were great - as usual with TAL :) If I had one criticism it would be to check out the size of the collar, I felt the ‘style’ of it was a bit small, it could be deeper.
