This is the best yet!
After nine brands on try-out, Alma Ember is my favorite! Some came close but not to this standard. I was a bit skeptical on opening being lighter color than extra dark as ordered. The aroma was on point for an extra dark. (I use three scoops for a 12 ounce cup). Taste is so incredibly satisfying hitting back of palate thoroughly like a great extra dark does. There is only a hint of sweet which suits me fine since that is distracting to me. You good folks hit this one outta the park!

FANTASTIC
If you want a perfect, dark, bold coffee, this should be your pick. I've never got bad roasts from Alma but this specific roast has been far and away an absolute favorite!
