This is LA’s best espresso

I’ve tried a LOT of espresso beans over the years - and Owl’s Howl is simply the best in show. Its consistency from month to month is impressive, all the more so because it’s a blend of several beans whose availability fluctuates depending on the season. Rich and assertive, but not bitter or over-roasted, excellent in cappuccinos and lattes. Also my go-to gift (and LA flex) to coffee-loving friends living elsewhere.

Owl’s Howl…..Holy cow!

A beautifully layered espresso with a rich cacao nib foundation, bright stone-fruit sweetness, and a lingering finish of candied orange. The cup balances depth and vibrancy really well—chocolatey and structured up front, then opening into juicy fruit before finishing with a delicate citrus sweetness. Complex without being heavy, and incredibly clean and expressive. A seriously enjoyable shot.

Obsessed

I feel like I was hunting forever for a good organic espresso where the price felt reasonable. I'm so glad that I found Sightglass. Ow's Howl is a truly beautiful roast and I look forward to my morning latte that much more now. Love it and definitely recommend.
