Gaggia Classic Pro E24 -- solid espresso machine at a reasonable price

This is my first semi-automatic espresso machine. We bought a Flair Espresso (the basic version) during COVID and used it moderately, but there were too many moving pieces. This machine (the GCP E24) has allowed us to get way deeper into espressos, lattes, americanos, and more. The price point cannot be beat -- I snagged this when it was on sale for $399. You should know that the tamper that comes with the machine is inadequate, so that was our first upgrade--we got a calibrated Normcore 58. 5 mm tamper. The double basket seems a bit small for 18g, so that may be our next upgrade. Despite these small shortcomings, it is an incredible value for a sub-500 machine.

E24 Classic Pro

After trying the Carezza Deluxe I upgraded to the E24 and couldn’t be happier. New to the game there’s much to learn but with the Classic Pro it’s been a ball! Very satisfied with WLL pricing and customer service. 5 Stars.
