A stainless steel mesh puck screen that sits on top of the coffee in the basket, in 53.5mm and 58.5mm sizes. It slows how water spreads through the puck and takes up headroom, which helps when you dose less and want to avoid a muddy puck. Fits:
53.5mm: 54mm portafilter baskets, including Breville/Sage 54mm machines
58.5mm: 58mm portafilter

I was never 100% happy with the tamping on my Breville, and the way the grounds would accumulate on the shower head over time, even though I’d wipe it after every extraction. The diffuser has fixed everything, and it’s so simple. Popping it into the portafiller provides the perfect surface area and creates a barrier between the grounds and the shower head. The result is more consistent extractions and a clean shower head at all times. Simple but effective.

Now there is an even distribution of water on my Breville Express Impress.
The flow is picture perfect and I feel the dialing in process is more efficient. I have changed beans twice, so I had three separate opportunities ro dial in bean changes with the Pesado shower screen. I am also using the ultra thin puck screen. I do not have a very refined palate so I can not comment on any major taste differences of old versus new shower screen, but I am pulling great tasting shots. My pours look like the thick, warm honey that we all are chasing!

Hi Guys I have teh shower screenand they work great.
I had no trouble with adjusting teh grind so that I get a good esspres of coffee. I later brout a Pck screen, but unfortunately I brought the 1.7mm thick one. I have managed to get this to work well on the double shot basket, but have no hope on a singlr shot basket. For thisd I would need the .2mm puck screen.
I have been drawing coffee oat home ith my BES920 double boilerfor about 10 years. Prior to that it was cheap little machines that struggle to make anything that resembles coffee. I am currnetly using MIKRO Coffee beans to make my mornig breakfast.
