High Diffusion Espresso Shower Screen - Breville

Noticeable Improvement in Espresso Extraction I recently installed the Pesado shower screen on my Breville Touch Impress, and I’ve noticed a real difference in how the espresso flows from the bottomless portafilter. Before the upgrade, the espresso would often spray off to the sides before eventually coming together into a steady stream in the center. Since installing the Pesado screen, the flow has been much more uniform from the start, forming a consistent stream without the side spraying. It’s a simple upgrade, but I’m happy with the improvement. Definitely a worthwhile addition to my setup!

It was easy to install, but every now and then the puck gets stuck, so its a bit annoying. I tried using the puck screen that came with it, but I feel its an overkill, I have to adjust the grind, and it makes it easier to stuck. On the other hand, coffee has been better, I taste the difference.

My Breville Bambino Plus now rivals my Rocket machine in quality of espresso shots. No more uneven extraction thanks to Pesado’s diffusion shower screen! Simple to install and a world of difference to my lattes.
