MiiCoffee DF54 Single Dose Coffee Grinder

Very good after 2 weeks

This grinder is heavy and solid-feeling as expected. It is quieter than I expected and seems to produce a nice, consistent particle size. I've used it for Moka Pot (setting about 35) and drip coffee (setting around 60) with good results. I added the metal dosing cup to my order to help manage static and it seems to work well. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Grinder itself is excellent. Really easy to use, good quality grind, no complaints there. Only minor negative with the experience was that the product description for the 240V one which I ordered claimed to come with a UK adapter, but didn't, so I had to order one separately.

So far so good after 6months.

So far my wife and I really like the DF54. 6 months used daily. The only issue we encountered was with the grinder plugging up and the motor stopping. With a bit of fiddling, I found that I could unscrew the top to remove the top burr and I was able to remove the blockage. We had a particularly "oily" batch of beans and going forward we start the motor before adding the beans and make sure the entire batch passes through the burrs to the shoot before shutting it down. No more problems since. The other oddity is that the beans we need to grind for a full pot won't quite fit the collection cup so we just put the filter under the shoot - I appreciate that the shoot reliably delivers the grounds all the way down to the counter and into the filter w/o making a mess.
