Splash guard is lifechanging. Seal is good, never have trouble with spills. It's easy to clean as well which is important since I use it almost daily. I was hoping it would fit in my cupholder but it's too small for my mug-sized cupholder and too big for my regular cupholders (I have the kind that fit a Starbucks cup perfectly but nothing bigger). Altogether though it's worth the cost. I have the smallest size and it's so easy to throw in my tote bag. The texture of the finish is really nice too, not overly glossy.

Perfect

I purchased the matte grey 12 oz cup with the splatter proof insert plus the slip lid. Absolutely love it. I’m a coffee sipper which means I was having to microwave it at least twice. Not now!! My coffee is kept very warm. Will not leak when I throw it into my bag. You won’t be disappointed.

Leaky Seal

I've owned this mug for maybe a month and already have had multiple leaks with a firmly closed lid. I have been sent a replacement with the same issue. Design flaws in the mug's lid make it so that you have to screw the lid very, very tight in order to prevent leakage. This makes it extremely difficult to open considering there is no grip and the curve of the lid begins right at the seal. At first customer service was abysmal and provided an auto-response non-solution, but after a second try my concerns were tended to and I was sent a replacement. Unfortunately the same issue persisted with the new mug which is why I have to give a poor rating. I was really hopeful for this mug. Unfortunately it does not live up to it's price.
