Off Grid in a French Press - Dark and Actually Smooth

I ran Wonderstate's Off Grid beans through my French press and it came out exactly as advertised --- bold and roasty with bittersweet cocoa and smoke notes that don't taste burnt. Coarse grind, 4-minute steep, and it poured thick and full-bodied but mellow enough that I skipped the cream. Not for the faint of heart, roasty, smoky and unquestionably bold for sure, but it's that cozy campfire s'mores kind of dark that makes me wanting more.

I really enjoyed this coffee. It brewed very nicely in my espresso machine, and the grind I received was perfect!
