Broken C string

Upon tightening my new strings the C string broke. I contacted the shop and they sent s replacement string. Thanks.

Excellent choice

Wanted deeper tone from the lower strings on my Fiddlerman 5-string violin. The Zyex strings that I use on my 180 year old 4 string were not getting there on the 5-string. I decided to try Helicore only because I read that is what Bobby Hicks uses. I also switched to heavies, like Bobby uses, despite online info saying they would be less responsive. MUCH better tone, and with a more sticky but somehow smooth when changing bow direction rosin (Liebenzeller Gold III) the response is terrific.
