Black Mountain Capo

Where was this capo years ago?

This is the first capo I used, that had every string under the correct tension and in tune. No buzzing, simple and easy to set. The only thing I miss is the ability to operate it with only one hand. On stage I switch tunings and guitars a lot from standard to DADGAD and one-handed operation would make this quicker. But even between the different tunings of my instruments, this capo knocks it out of the park!

Best capo I’ve ever owned. Been playing for 60 years. What took so long? My one criticism is that I’m in a small Ontario town and it took almost 3 weeks to receive it after my initial order. Maybe it would have been faster if you had mailed it! Did it come via the Strait of Hormuz? I dunno.

Well this is my second one bc the first one died when I tried to secure it behind the nut on my Martin D28. The design looks like it would come down evenly on the strings… but several strings are slightly sharp after I tighten it down. Please don’t tell me I’m doing it wrong. I’m a professional and have made multiple adjustments but it still requires tweaking the tuning after tightening. And it WILL NOT go over the nut without a fight. When I’m performing I don’t feel like wasting unnecessary time messing with a capo on stage. Really disappointed and will ship it back for a refund (I’ll send both) and buy a couple of Shubs instead. Nice try but it’s just not working for me.
