Miyabi Koya 6.5" Bunka Knife

Good looking knife

The handle color compliment the blade. Comfortable to hold. Cuts well. Stainless and handle is pakkawood so you don't have to baby this thing. I'm a fan.

Great knife

Love this knife. I feel like it strikes a great balance between german and japanese styles. While not feeling quite as thin as a traditional japanese style knife, it is still quite thin and carries the balance and a bit of heft i'm so used to with german style knives and razor sharp out of the box. Enjoy it so much I also purchased the matching gyuto.

Miyabi Koya 6.5 Bunka

Purchased this a few weeks ago along with a Yaxell Hana Kiritsuke. Definitely a beautiful blade in person. With my busy schedule I finally made it a point to give it a try. First time ever using a Bunka, totally enjoyed it. Sliced onions paper thin, excellent control. Found myself looking for things to chop up. Definitely would recommend. I made a couple of purchases since and planning on more. Including the Koya 5.5 prep. Nothing but excellent service so far and delivery is quick, usually the next day.
