Sweet
This is a lovely little Bunka. With a relatively soft (for a Japanese knife) dual steel blade it's not only sharp out of the box but should stay sharp for a long time and then be easy to resharpen. With a full tang it has good weight for such a small knife which makes chopping and slicing a breeze, and has enough of a curved blade to permit rock chopping if desired.

perfect little guy
I have all of the knives in this specific line. In fact most of my knives are Takayuki I am a huge fan. This thing rocks, literally. Great for rocking cuts, slicing, and chopping small. It's just a little smaller than a gyuto which is perfect for a prep knife, or anyone with smaller hands. I reccomend this knife along with it's siblings; the gyuto, the petty and (if you need it) the sujihiki.
