Nice sharpening rod

This is my first knife sharpening/Maintence tool. I don’t know much about how they are supposed to work, so really cannot compare. But this one looks very nice!

Great Rod!

Love that this rod does NOT have the rubber tip on it. One this of note as I did buy these as gifts I should have considered some some knife rolls could not fit a 12in rod

It Takes a Little Practice

Gives you a nice, sharp edge, but it takes patience and some practice, so don't give up if you think it's not working for you! And unlike diamond steels, you can give your ceramic sharpening rod a quick scrub with a mildly abrasive cleaner (Ajax, Comet, Soft Scrub) and return it to nearly new condition! Highly recommend.
