CARNE SECA - HATCH GREEN CHILE BEEF JERKY

I have been on a search for the most consistent beef jerky as I travel a lot and want a low calorie snack and Peoples choice delivers. This has to be the best beef jerky for the price honestly and the Carne Seca flavors are insanely good. I think I have tried over 20 different brands and yes a couple were better but the price for them was outrageous so I will always buy only from peoples choice.

Overall, there’s some quality inconsistency. At its best, I love the product, for it is dried just the point of being crispy but not too dry and texturally perfect and lean. However the inconsistency, about 25% of the time, results in a bag that is not sufficiently dried and results in a flabby, tough, and inedibly tough, if flavorful, product. Described as very low fat, bags periodically contain poorly trimmed contents, with a significant amount of fat.

I was hoping to like this flavor because i am a hatch green chile fan but the taste is not there. For some reason this flavor does not use sea salt the way the other flavors do so maybe that’s why i didn’t really enjoy it.
