I absolutely love how nami genmaicha tastes!!! I’m a fan of nutty and toasty flavors hands down!!!! Genmaicha has a good nutty flavor from the roasted brown rice and it doesn’t overpower the green tea aspect, there’s a good balance that makes you want to hold onto your mug. I’ve had brewed genmaicha a few times before and I’d say that tastes more leafy, leaning towards the vegetal green tea with a light roasted aroma. HOWEVER, nami genmaicha is lowkey a game changer for me because of how interestingly addictive the taste is: nutty, cereal, kettle corn. When I say nutty, it’s not like nami hojicha nutty because that one is more chocolatey and rich. But it’s nutty and almost sweet like a nutritious grain drink flavor (it actually reminds me a lot of the Korean drink misugaru). I have a warm mug every morning, and it’s amazing for me because the caffeine content isn’t so high. I also LOVEEEE the flavor when it’s iced! In short, I’m in love. Thank you Ashley and nami matcha team ♡

I loved this product only after I finally figured out my favorite way to prepare it. Do not use too much in one cup or the flavor is really overwhelning. Just a few grams in a cup, whisked and steamed with milk, honey, and vanilla, still served warm as a latte. YUM. Otherwise, too little milk and too much tea tastes line burnt popcorn, prepare this way to fully enjoy the earthy and nutty flavor!

unique and comforting flavor
this flavor is so delicious and unique! the addition of the roasted brown rice reminds me of the rice that’s stuck to a stone bowl. i had it with a little maple syrup and pea milk :)
