(Ran into the same exact issue with the yame matcha, but this one had a slightly stronger flavor)
Great color but completely flavorless in lattes if you use the recommended amout of 2 grams. The flavor gets overpowered by any milk/milk substitute, and ends up just tasting like what ever milk you used. To get the proper matcha taste you have to use like 4 to 5 grams (per latte!) which for the price point and size of the tin is absolutely ridiculous (not even considering the caffeine intake.) If you are absolutely new to matcha I can see this working for you, but I just wish they provided a better tasting product for the price. Plus it doesnt even really taste like matcha even when you use 5 grams. (Although Okumidori tastes slightly better than yame) BEAUTIFUL color though. May change my opinion as I finish the tin but these are my first impressions.

a matcha worth slowing down for
my mornings have been looking a little greener lately. 🌿
nami's okumidori has such a calm, comforting profile. it's light yet flavorful, with buttery steamed greens, the softest hint of florals, and a smooth finish that makes every sip feel effortless. it's the kind of matcha that doesn't ask for attention. it just quietly becomes part of your routine.
i've been reaching for it on slow mornings alongside breakfast, and i love how it stays present even in a latte without tasting too heavy or bitter.
one of those matchas that simply makes you want to whisk another bowl tomorrow. 🍵
