Ummon Matcha (40g Can)

Delicious tea

I have always enjoyed the bold taste of this tea. A real umami bomb. I just wish I could get it in a 20 g can. A 40 g can has too much tea for me to use in 25 or 30 days. After that, the tea starts to go stale. Or if I go on vacation the same thing. Usually all good, but occasionally not so good.

Matcha > Packaging

The packaging of this matcha was not to my liking. The quality of the matcha definitely makes up for the price tag. It’s definitely premium but I dislike that I have to keep the matcha in the non resealable tin bag instead of the can because the canister does not close airtight like other cans. I feel like with the price tag the canister should be able to keep the matcha as fresh as possible. Especially for those that only want to use the premium matcha powders at certain times.

Loveeeeee this tea! Very smooth and the taste is high quality. Worth the cost- highly recommend!
