Evening Glow Uji Hojicha

First time trying hojicha, this is AMAZING! Tried in both usucha style and a latte style (with oat milk, no sweetner) and its delicious either way. Pretty sure this has ruined all hojichas for me😮‍💨

As someone who’s much more of a matcha drinker than a hojicha drinker, this took me a little while to appreciate. The roasted flavor was stronger than what I was used to at first, but that’s exactly what hojicha is known for. I originally tried it with almond milk and regular milk, but after trying it with oat milk at one of Daylight’s pop-ups, it completely changed my mind. The oat milk really complements the roasted flavor and makes it so smooth and delicious. If you’re trying this one, I’d definitely recommend oat milk. I’m looking forward to making more lattes with the rest of my tin!
