A sharp and agile surprise
I'm a relative amateur with knives and have a small eclectic collection of chef's knives. I needed a smaller all purpose knife that didn't 'hang up' on vegetables and would do precision work as well. THIS is that knife! It sails through broccoli, carrots, and potatoes where my others sort of get stuck and I have to bear down or saw. The Zuma cuts through about anything with on slicing motion and never seems to stick. I purchased before their recent Youtube review or the current sale (damn I shoulda waited!) but the review is spot on. I really like this knife!

Well worth it
I purchased this knife along with the Zwilling prep knife as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law, with the idea that they would not be interested and I would just add the knives to my collection. What a mistake on my part. They both immediately started using the knives and are raving about how enjoyable it is using sharp knives to prepare a meal. This Bunka is a game changer.

Best Value by a Mile
I bought this knife while on sale, and it is the best knife I have so far. It is thin behind the edge, but it gets thicker closer to the spine which makes it pretty sturdy. The fit and finish is much better than I expected. The hammered texture is nice. That, combined with the polished texture of the lower portion of the blade, gives you a beautiful knife. The spine and choil are rounded and polished. I have other knives that are more expensive than this, but this one was sharpest out of the box and had the best fit and finish.
This knife is a must for all collectors, especially those on a budget.
