I am new to hand sharpening but bought this and the Chosera Pro 1000 and 3000 stones to maintain my Japanese knives. I own a Wicked Edge Pro Gen 3 that I use on all my knives, but it won't go down to 12 degrees so...here we are. It holds the stones perfectly, it's adjustable, and the rubber base makes it stick to the counter or table very well.
