Pattern was easy to follow had fun making this for my granddaughter for a Easter Basket Gift

I've never done applique before and really enjoyed making it and pleased with the result

Don't get overwhelmed - the final product is worth it!

My daughter wanted to be an elve for Halloween, so the Monarch wings really came in handy. The included coloring sheet is a very nice touch, giving the child the possibility to design their own wings. When I read the tutorial for the first time I was quite overwhelmed. But once I started and just followed the tutorial step by step, it was easier in the end than initially feard. Though it takes some time: Having three small children I only sewed in the evening for about 2 hours each time and needed around 4 evenings to finish the wings. But I am really happy with the result - as is my daughter. Thank you for this beautiful pattern!
