Scenic Top Sewing Pattern - Women's/Curved Fit

Great fitting pattern for a woven tee

I saw this pattern reviewed by sequingirlie and decided to give it a try as a good basic. I made my size (followed directions for my size measurements exactly) without making any changes (apart from a large bicep adjustment)as I wanted to see how it fitted first - I did a quick check by comparing it with other patterns I have amended before. With the exception of the shoulders being minimally to wide (no more than 0.5cm) the top fitted perfectly. The instructions were really clear, the pieces fitted together really well and I am delighted with the finished garment. I made the 3/4 sleeve version and plan to make several more using more fabric from my stash but with different sleeve treatments as I also purchased the sleeve expansion pack. All in all, highly recommended for beginner and experienced sewists alike.

Newbie friendly

I chose this pattern to teach beginners because it is so well layed out and the sizes and option are the best out there for all bodies. It also got them super excited to join the Twig and Tale family of sewing because of it!

I made this short sleeve top. out a very colorful mystery material a friend gifted me. Working on it this snowy day brightened my work space. The instructions and accompanying photos are some of the best instructions I have used in decades of sewing. I will use this pattern again and again.
