Stitched up a Petal dress for my 6 yo grand. Used a home dec print and shirting as a lining. Put kitty ears on the hood, and she loves it. A pleasure to make and so much fun to see her enjoy wearing it! Second one is ready for snaps, and 3rd will be finished tomorrow. Love pairing woven fabrics from my stash to make fun and whimsical clothes for my grands!

Easy sew, perfect dress

I bought this pattern as my daughter has outgrown the free version. Since its her favourite dress I had to get the bigger sizes. It sews up pretty easy and fast but doesn't look that way when finished, so that's perfect. It's also a dress that works great for active children as it doesn't hinder movement and doesn't get caught easy while climbing and cycling. The perfect pattern for my very active toddler. And when it gets dirty you just turn it around after lunch and you've got a clean dress to start the afternoon.
