A thermal carafe that works

We’ve tried the few other coffee makers that offer a thermal carafe rather than a glass pot and a hot plate. None would keep the coffee warm for more than a few minutes as the carafe wasn’t well insulated. Moccamaster’s carafe design hits the sweet spot of keeping the coffee warm for several hours as well as convenience (easy pour and easy cleanup).

customer service is superb

We bought a new Moccamaster to replace the same model we've had for over 15 years, as it was getting tired. The new thermal pot has a glass liner, and it was broken when we received it. We notified Moccamaster, provided proof of purchase, and received a new pot within a week. There are several improvements to this system over the old one. Concerning the new pot, it pours better due to a directional spout, and the lid is easier to put on and leave on while pouring. Just remember the glass liner is more fragile than the old stainless liner. It may keep the heat in longer, though.

Great so far, but so was the last one

It seems perfect, keeping just-brewed coffee hot, then warm . . . perfect fitting inserts, couldn't ask for more, except the previous thermal carafe was just as good but only lasted two years.
