REP® x PÉPIN™ FAST Series™ Adjustable Dumbbell

The last dumbbells I will ever buy.

Man, these are probably the best adjustable dumbbells on the planet right now. They will probably last my lifetime, and aince I don't have kids, I need to find someone to leave them to in my will. Absolutely no plastic parts! I don't generally drop my weights, but I'm sure these can stand up to the most abusive use you can dish out. And the adjustment system is so smooth it's ridiculous. Between sets, I sometimes find myself using the adjusters as fidget toys. They feel amazing. Once you factor in how many dumbbells these can replace, and their indestructability, the price is actually quite reasonable. I have no regrets about buying these.

Not for anyone who wears a size L or bigger gloves

If your hands are big enough to wear a size Large or bigger gloves you will run into the issue of constantly knocking out the push pins and having the plates fall out during lifting. Really wanted to like these but the safety concern, along with the occasional plate sticking made these really frustrating to use. Its ironic cause the person strong enough to lift 125 lb dumbbells for reps people typically use dumbbells for is not the type of person who typically had hands small enough to not knock out the push pins during lifting. Hopefully they will come out with something to prevent this in the future and i can change this review

Heavy Metal - Right on!

REP X PÉPIN FAST Adjustable Dumbbells are TIGHT! These things are tanks. Smooth sliding action with a satisfying magnetic click when selecting your weight. Amazing knurled handles that feel fantastic in the hand. I absolutely love these things. Some have complained about the noise, because they do clank a little when you use them, but I find it to be extremely satisfying and actually prefer the sound.
