Exceeded expectations
I've been working out for 38 years, from high school weight rooms to college strength training, to both expensive and budget gyms. This is the first olympic bar I've ever owned. The smoothness of the bearings was a big surprise; I was almost confused because it almost felt as if there was zero drag on the plate spin when lifting the bar.

Solid barbell!
First barbell so not sure what to look for so went with REP after some recommendations on YouTube. Feels very solid and nicely made. The knurling is not passive but also not very aggressive. Went with the chrome, not sure if the cerakote version is slightly less aggressive. Either way, I’ve gotten used to it after a week, happy so far!

REP NAILED IT WITH COLORADO
I purchased the REP Colorado bar in Black Cerakote/ Duracoat and couldn't be happier.
This bar reminds me of those old school 1970's Olympic bars only WAY BETTER!
The knurling is perfect and the duracoat sleeves awesome.
