Droplet: Smart Home Water Sensor

I purchased this to replace my old rachio flow Sensor. I am out of town often and use the flow Sensor to ensure my sprinklers are working well and therenare no leaks. I had a difficult time getting the sensor to connect, primarily due to paint being applied to the PVC many years ago. After sanding away the paint the Droplet connected and has worked well.

I like that it tracks water usage in general. But i was hoping it would be more accurate. It's not accurate as to which source is used - many times it confuses kitchen faucet or bathroom faucet with dishwasher or washing machine. other times it confuses faucet and toilet or irrigation. I wish it would be more accurate so it can give me better metrics as to which source is used the most or least.

Love the product and what id does. But needs better notification of when water is detected rumning. Only providing email means you may miss notifications until you ceck your email.
