Stones are great quality and are big enough for sharpening larger knives. Adjustable wooden stone rack mounts over the sink or can be used on the countertop. Heavy duty construction should last years. Definitely recommend.

I have one of the 1000/6000 you get on amazon for a few bucks, and I treated myself to this set with on sale, and I cannot believe the difference. My knives are so so super sharp now with very little effort. The glass backs are also really cool looking, almost a statement piece.

Water Stone

This is a pretty handy kit. My usual is an old set of oil stones and an oils soaked rag. This is a less messy method. Sharpening the knives over the kitchen sink makes clean up easier. It's working out pretty well and I look forward to keeping this in the rotation.
