Good quality, but turns your smoothie into a mountain of foam

I really wanted to love this high-quality whey powder, and the vanilla flavor itself isn't bad. However, the texture is a dealbreaker for me. Every time I blend it, it whips so much air into the liquid that my standard 2-cup smoothie expands into an 8-cup mountain of foam. Because it fluffs up so much, it's impossible to put into a travel cup to take to go. I’ve tried adding it at the very end for just a quick spin, but it still fluffs up completely. It feels like drinking a cup of air, which is disappointing for such an expensive product.
