TEST KITCHEN - NASHVILLE HOT BEEF JERKY

I absolutely love this stuff. I do, however, think it wasn't nearly as spicy as the first few times I purchased it. Anyway, that being said, my only advice is don't wear white when eating it.

I'm a bit of a jerky snob, and after trying endless brands of gas station jerky, I've found this brand to be far superior to the rest. I lean towards the hot and spicy flavors, but so many that I've tried seem to be hot, just for the sake of being hot, in other words, they lack flavor. I don't mind the heat, but if there is no flavor to back it up, it's just heat. Peoples Choice brand seem to have come up with the perfect balance of flavor and heat, They are my go-to brand of smoked snacks.

i love the hot and spicy and the nashville hot is pretty great too. i look foward to trying the original. i love deer jerky so this was definitely a great alternative, texture just like venison.
