Golden Treasure Tomato

For an event in (Master Gardener) I started the seeds quite early. ALL of them germinated, cute little plants, grew right along. Did not take them outdoors until warm enough, Late June here in Pendleton. It is the last week of August, and they are just starting to set fruit. I guess that is what the description means by "great for storage", because it looks like there will be plenty of green ones once it is starting to get frosty.

Lovely plants and growing quickly!

The starts arrived a little banged up (someone left them on the doorstep sideways despite very clear markings on the box for "live plants - this side up"), but they were very resilient! The tomato plants have been very hearty so far, growing quickly and putting out a lot of fruit. Too early yet to taste, but I've been pleased with their growth so far and looking forward to having our annual tasting contest (these were selected as the "everyone grows" variety in our annual tomato contest at OHSU!). Love territorial seed company - will definitely be ordering through them again in future.
