decent growth, but diseased leaves and low yield
Unfortunately this strain didn't do as well as others for me. Perhaps it was just bad luck, but the plant developed dark spots on the leaves, which were maybe Septoria leaf spot. Other nearby tomato strains I was growing didn't have this problem. Probably due to the disease, the plant did not yield many tomatoes.

Abundant production
Like all my tomatoes, Darkstar got off to a slow start, but when it produced, it really produced! Multiple clusters of half a dozen large tomatoes, nicely flavored, on a fairly compact plant. I will definitely plant Darkstar again.

Happy and Healthy
This plant has grown very well and plenty of large tomatoes set on! Still waiting for the ripening, the pictures are gorgeous!
