Great tomato

I love this tomato. Lots of flavor. I mix it with other tomatoes to make tomato sauce. It is very prolific, and was the first one in my garden to ripen.

Delicious but Finicky

Sowed indoors and had 100% germination rate. Kept 2 of the seedlings and grew one in a 15" pot of quality soil on the deck and one in the ground. The potted plant grew nicely and produced a great crop this year. The plant in the ground took off and did so well but we did have a first round of blossom end rot on the initial tomatoes thar grew. After that round was cleared off, we had pretty consistent tomatoes the rest of the season with minimal issues. They are great for slicing on a sandwich or burger, or roasting for a sauce or freezing for later.
