My new favorite tomato!
I tried Damsel this year for the first time, although I have been a tomato gardener for decades. I had recently experienced some kind of fungal disease with my heirloom tomatoes, and I hoped that this variety would do better. It did! My other varieties died, but the Damsel did really well! It is also beautiful and delicious!

Damsel Tomato
The Damsel is my favorite tomato to grow in Northwest Washington state. The tomatoes are med or larger, somewhat resemble an heirloom variety, excellent taste and firm and plentiful fruit. The most amazing thing about this tomato in my experience is that the plant doesn’t get the brown leaves late in summer like most common varieties I have grown. I have been able to pick fresh eating tomatoes into mid-November most years. These tomatoes have done so well here that a local food donation garden changed to growing the Damsel variety for the above reasons. I grow mine in an enclosed hoop house that I open up on hot days and keep closed on cooler days. Please keep selling this variety.
