What happened?
I have two Cherokee Purple plants, one produced 3 fruits and the other 4 was an extra in another raised bed with one other tomato. I've grown Cherokee Purple before and don't remember such a low fruit count. The other tomatoes are Genuwine, Costulato Fiorentino, Pink Berkeley Tie Die, Red Torch, and Cosmonaut Volkov. They are all fine. August 2025

Yummy Yum Yum
I usually plant one other variety such as Big Boy, but Cherokee Purple is my favorite. Luscious, mid-size, perfect balance between sweet and acidic, prolific and beautiful! A couple of slices of bread and a little mayo is all you need to make the summer sing. I can't wait!
